AQLIGHTING is excited to bring you this new, exclusive LED rope light. The 513PRO series takes LED rope lighting to the next level with brand new LED diode technology. Brighter, better light coverage, more vivid colors are just a few things that the 513 diode brings to the table. This purple LED rope light comes standard with factory-attached power cord and end cap but is offered with additional accessory kits to allow you to cut and modify your LED rope light to suit your exact applications. The tube is treated for UV exposure, meaning that it won't yellow when exposed to sun, perfect for outdoor lighting applications.

Diodes make all the difference and this is the best and newest LED on the market for this application. This new LED produces more light output, eliminates dark spots and features full range dimming. All of this and huge energy savings.
A Bright Light, No Dark Spots
The larger 513 diode means a better beam spread and no gaps in the light coverage. Unlike other LED rope light, there are no reflectors or refractor lens to spread the light; it's direct lighting, from diode to surface.

Can this be cut for different lengths?
The 513 Series Rope light can be cut every 30". There is white printing to indicate the spots where it is safe to cut.
What is the diameter of this rope light?
The 513 series rope light has a 1/2" diameter.
Can you use a standard 110V wall dimmer for these lights?
Yes as long there the dimmer is LED compatible and has enough capacity to handle the wattage.
Can end caps and starter cords be purchased separately and at what cost?
Yes, 2' power cords are $8.99, 6' power cords are $11.99 and end caps are $0.95. These pages are not currently up on the Amazon site. It would be best to contact Amazon directly to help with the transaction.
Where were these made at?
This rope light was made in China per AQ Lighting's manufacturing specs.
What is the total length?
The total length of the 513 Pro Series rope light is 150ft.
Do you have to use a special dimmer with this product? Does have any recommended style dimmers to use?
Any dimmer designed for CFL or LED light bulbs are compatible. We recommend the Lutron DVCL or the Legrand Wattstopper RHCL453PTC. The Lutron will be able to dim up to 150 watts of LED lighting and the wattstopper can go up to 450 watts. For more info, please call the AQLighting Group technical department at 800-865-7221.
What is the difference between standard and premium kits??
The standard kit comes with 150' of rope light, 1 factory attached power cord and 1 factory attached end cap. The premium kit includes 150' of rope light, 1 factory attached power cord,1 factory attached end cap, 1 additional 2' power cord, 1 additional end cap and 100 mounting clips. Lollipop Kitchen
We wanted to give a festive feel to our kitchen. The paint on one wall was called Lollipop, hence the title. We strung orange rope lights throughout the cabinetry, The cabinets themselves are white, European style with long cylindrical pulls. The top row of 12 inch cabinets have frosted glass faces. The rope was installed by me inside all of the cabinets. The upper cabinets emit a soft, inviting orange glow, as if gently on fire. The rope was then fed to the underside of the counter top so that when a drawer is opened, a soft orange glow fills the interior of the drawer. Next, a loop was fed along the rear top of the cabinets housing the pots and pans in roll out drawers, also well illuminated with the orange glow. A hole on the interior was drilled on the interior of the cabinet and the rope was fastened along underside of the toe kick. A soft glow emits from the toe kick.............no direct view of the rope lights themselves.........all is indirect, an important fact that makes the glow a bit mysterious. Every friend who has seen the effect, especially at night just loves the look. I have several other rooms where we are using the recessed LED rope lighting effect that I will describe in another evaluation. I recommend this lighting approach to anyone who wants to dress up their kitchen. It has been in place for a year now with no problems. We installed a dimmer switch to insure control of a subtle lighting effect. Just plug 'n play! The people at AQ were very helpful with questions.
