I searched everywhere locally looking for stair step lights and was unsuccessful in finding any quality products. I searched the internet and only found one place, Affordable Quality Lighting, that had a product that met my needs. The DDL4 step lights are attractive and of high quality while illuminating (more than just adequately) a very large area with a single LED bulb. Extremely durable. Can be mounted with moly bolts but I prefer to mount to a standard round electrical box. This requires that I drill another hole in the back of the base so it will fit. The current mounting holes are 3 & 3/8" apart and will not mount directly to a standard round electrical box. Extremely happy with product.

We are a lighting business which customizes customer lighting fixtures. We chose these step lights for their surface mount weather resistant features. We are using them as outdoor wall lights which will be covered by a porcelain decorative sculpture surrounding a courtyard.

I looked high and low for a simple, discreet light fixture to put on cedar posts in our outdoor living area. The customer service representative was extremely helpful when I called in to inquire about a couple of options before placing the order. He was very knowledgeable and answered my questions quickly and to the point. I need a total of 8 fixtures but only ordered 2 because of the high restocking fee of 35%. I received the first 2 in a timely manner, and although they have not been connected yet, they appear to be exactly what I am looking for. I feel confident enough now to place the order for the remaining 6.
