Simply put if you order a 10ft pre-cut, it may be 9ft and a few inches or 10ft and a few inches.

All is required for outdoor use is for the end of the rope light to be sealed with silicon, a 30 seconds process which will transform your rope light kit into the best all weather proof lighting solution you've ever purchased.
