Brand new from DMF, the DRD3M takes the next step in LED retrofit recessed downlighting. Unlike the previous model, the DRD3 LED module is fully adjustable, up to 40°, and has your choice of either spot or flood beam spread patterns to accomodate general lighting, task lighting, spotlighting or accent lighting purposes. It uses just a 1/10th the energy required by traditional incandescent lighting sources and is compatible with 4", 5" and 6" recessed housings, both new construction and remodel versions. This LED module uses the same Twist-Lock system as its predecessor (the DRD2) so its entire family of trims is compatible with the newer, more improved unit (click here to see our selection). The DRD3 has your choice of color temperatures, ranging from brilliant warm white to clear natural daylight, giving you the flexibility to choose the one the best fits your specific design aesthetics. The DRD3M is fully dimmable, all the way down to 5% total light output and is compatible with a range of Lutron, Cooper, Philips and LeGrand dimmer controllers. The DRD3 LED module comes backed with a whole fleet of certifications like Energy Star, Title 24, UL listing for damp locations, CEC listed, Air Tight and IC rated, so no matter your installation, it will meet your installation standards no problem.
