The next big thing in recessed down light housings, the DRDHRIC6S shallow remodel can features the latest and greatest in ceiling light fixtures. Using an IDEAL type 2 pin connector instead of a traditional medium base socket , the DRDHRIC6S is compatible with our line of LED light modules that exceeds the energy conservation requirement in the new Title 24 standards. This 6" remodel housing uses 4 tempered steel spring clips to secure the fixture to the ceiling material and is rated both AIRTIGHT and IC rated for both residential and commercial applications. The junction box features (5) 1/2" and (4) Romex knockouts and comes with several quick connectors for hassle-free wiring. Using the revolutionary Twist-and-Lock system, lighting trims are able to be swapped out in the blink of an eye for seamless installation and design changes.
