A 6" 120V 26w IC rated New Work Sloped Fluorescent housing. Air-tight and made from high quality aluminum, this housing is meant to last. An IC rating means that you can install this housing in homes with insulation. If you do not have insulation we suggest using a non-IC rated can, which can be found here.(NOTE: Housing in link is not a fluorescent fixture.) Being a new work housing, this can is made to be used in houses with existing drywall or where access to a ceiling joist is an option. If you do not have access to a ceiling joist, we recommend a remodel can, which can be found here.

Being air-tight, you will save money on your energy costs as the housing prevents heated and conditioned air from escaping through gaps like it normally would with non air-tight fixtures. The quality of this housing is backed up with an ETL listing for damp locations, air-tightness, and for its feed through wiring system. 
Safety and Features:
With safety and quality in mind, this 6" 120V sloped fluorescent housing has many safety features. A few of theses include: its ETL listings, a Thermally protected, current controlled ballast that will produce full light output and increase lamp life with no noise and flicker, a adjustable socket bracket with a slope indicator that provides consistent lamp alignment and setup, and a built in thermal protector will turn off the can light, in case of improper bulb installation. Combine these with 4 pre-installed spring clips, and multiple knockouts for the junction box and this housing becomes a simple and easy choice for your lighting needs. Bulbs
