Exceptional quality at an affordable price, the DRDHRIC5 exceeds the standards of recessed housings with its rock solid construction and amazing flexibility in application. Using the IDEAL type 2 pin connector, this 5" LED recessed housing is Title 24 compliant, as it utilizes the DRD2 series of LED lighting modules (sold separately) for superior energy savings. Wiring this fixture is a breeze as the junction box features (5) 1/2" and (4) Romex knockouts with pryout slots and comes with several quick connectors. Attached by 4 tempered steel spring clips, this 5" remodel down light housing is IC Rated and AIRTIGHT, allowing you to install the fixture in A/C controlled areas with insulation, perfect for both residential and commercial applications.

The 5" remodel housing is able to use any of the DRD2 LED lighting modules, which comes in your choice of light output temperatures and features the Twist-and-Lock system for lighting trims.
